We received a $1,600 Grant from the City of Santa Clarita. We purchased a handicapped puppet, hearing aids and various other items. 
We sold ad space and raised money for our picnic. 
The event can be as elaborate as you want to make it! 
Just getting people together creates a level of understanding and learning to accept -everyone as they are.
